The Lord Of The Rings: The Rings Of Power Season 1 Episode 4 Subtitles !NEW!
First, let me let out a big sigh of relief that this episode brings all viewers onto the same page regarding Númenor. Yes, one day it's going to be consumed by great waves! Ahh, it feels so good to say that in writing. When preparing to cover The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power and writing our introduction to the Second Age, I was really nervous about whether or not it counted as a "spoiler" to talk about Númenor's eventual destruction. If you know anything about J.R.R. Tolkien's work, then that flooding is the single most famous thing about Númenor! But who knows how many people watching the show are familiar with Tolkien's writings? I think the Rings of Power writing team made the right choice here by giving Queen-Regent Míriel (Cynthia Addai-Robinson) a vision of Númenor's destruction. It would be all but impossible to keep Númenor's fate a plot secret (anyone can use Google, after all) and revealing it in this way both gives Míriel a powerful motivation and adds a tragic resonance to everything that will happen there.

Diehard Tolkienites are sure to frustrated (or even angered) by and dispute some of its biggest reveals, including The Stranger's wizard unveiling, how and when the elven rings are forged, and Sauron's reveal. Most viewers, though, will get a welcome kick out of episode 8's most revelatory content. Equally, there are enough plot threads left dangling, and intriguing lore drops in episode 7 and its successor, to ensure the show's second season will be as keenly anticipated as its first.
There are Dungeon & Dragons easter eggs hidden in Stranger Things season 4's subtitles that viewers may have missed. The Duffer Brothers' smash-hit Netflix original series released the last two episodes of season 4 last week, and the Stranger Things season 4 finale saw its heroes face their deadliest threat yet. As Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown) and Max (Sadie Sink) confronted Vecna/001/Henry Creel (Jamie Campbell Bower) in Max's mind, the other party members fight off enemies both in and out of the Upside Down.
Vulture spoke with Stranger Things season 4's subtitle author Jeff T. and his editor Karli Witkowska about this season's creative descriptions. They revealed that there are unfound Dungeon & Dragons easter eggs hidden in the subtitles as well. Jeff shared two references to the table-top RPG that he said no one had caught yet. One compared Eleven's powers to a warlock's forbidden spell, and the other combined two separate references to describe Vecna's creation of the Mind Flayer.
