The Boys season 3 episode 4 has been delayed for many Prime Video users, so what time is it supposed to be released? After a near two-year break, there was understandably a huge amount of anticipation to watch new episodes of the superhero show, in what promises to be the wildest season yet. The Boys season 3 released on Prime Video on June 3, 2022, with three episodes dropping at once to pick up the story of Billy Butcher (Karl Urban), Homelander (Antony Starr), and co.
After that, Amazon has a planned a weekly rollout of The Boys season 3's remaining five episodes, which is the same release model used for season 2 (in contrast, The Boys season 1 was an all-at-once release). Unfortunately, that has hit a snag with season 3, episode 4, "Glorious Five Year Plan".
As reported by many global Prime Video users, The Boys season 3, episode 4 is not available on several platforms, including watching Prime Video via desktop and using the Prime Video app. The issue doesn't appear to have affected everyone, but a lot of subscribers have reported problems with the episode not releasing in various territories, including the United States, Canada, and United Kingdom (which Screen Rant can verify at the time of writing).
Based on the previously revealed schedule, including the first installments, The Boys season 3 releases new episodes at 4 pm PST / 7 pm EST / 12 am GMT. That's different to most streaming services, which typically drop episodes at midnight PST. Still, that had been expected to happen again with The Boys season 3, episode 4 and all subsequent episodes, but hasn't been the case for many users.
Amazon's official social media channels have responded to various tweets on the matter of The Boys season 3, episode 4 delay. Some of these simply ask for patience, but others do discuss technical difficulties that are being worked on, though without any real specifics. Because of that then it is unclear exactly what has happened, but a technical glitch of some kind has meant The Boys season 3, episode 4 being delayed for some subscribers. Amazon notes that the problems should be resolved soon, with one tweet (translated to English from Turkish) saying: "Our technical team is aware of the issue and is working on a solution." However, another response to a question on episode 4 dropping stated that announcements "haven't been made."
The technical issues haven't affected all potential viewers, as users watching Prime Video via a Fire TV Stick have reported being able to watch The Boys season 3, episode 4 by navigating to the homepage and searching for "The Boys." Meanwhile, The Boys season 3, episode 4 also appears available to watch via Apple TV - however, while the episode option does come up on their hub, clicking to watch simply takes you through to Prime Video and the first three season 3 episodes, with episode 4 still unavailable. As it stands, Fire TV Stick is the only verified way of watching The Boys season 3, episode 4 online until Prime Video's technical difficulties are resolved.
James is Screen Rant's Deputy Features Lead Editor, having started out as a writer for the site back in 2019. A Sports Journalism graduate, James quickly realized that supporting Sunderland AFC was painful enough without writing about it, and so decided to talk a load of rubbish about movies and TV instead. Formerly the TV editor at WhatCulture, he has a particular love of Star Wars (The Last Jedi was great), Game of Thrones (season 8 was good), and Harry Potter (J.K. Rowling...never mind) - y'know, all that really niche, nerdy stuff. Spending most of his days editing articles about or writing on movies and shows, James likes to really get away from work and unwind by, er, watching movies and shows. He's fuelled by pint-sized cups of tea, peanut butter, more tea, and a quiet, constant anger (like the Hulk, only not green, or strong, or big).
Our confidence that Kingdom will be returning has greatly increased after the confirmation that the series will be returning with a special bonus episode, exploring the character of Gianna Jun, portrayed by Jun Ji-hyun. It has been confirmed that Kingdom: Ashin of the North will be coming to Netflix on July 23rd, 2021.
It was revealed in late 2019 that Jun Ji Hyun had been cast, but her role had been kept a fiercely guarded secret. We can now understand why, because her being cast all but confirms a third season of Kingdom.
Due to Ashin of the North's success, it's a given the series will continue to produce more seasons in spite of not having a confirmed release date. While waiting for the official announcement, fans tend to speculate about the events happening in their beloved Korean zombie series. In the first two seasons, the crew covered many important aspects, including politics, thirst for power, and the endless hunger of the undead. Consequently, Something new is desperately needed to impress and meet the audiences' expectations.
With Ashin of the North acting as a bridge between season 2 and the next season, there is much to speculate. As one of Netflix's most awaited series is in the discussion, here's what we can expect from season 3.
Despite not having enough screen time in the previous two seasons of Kingdom, Cho Hak-ju was a crucial character in the show. Though the Queen killed him to suppress the matters of the illegitimate prince and the resurrection plant, he's likely to play an influential role in the next season.
The show could depict how Cho Hak-ju raised Queen Cho to become such a fierce, vicious woman and delve deeper into mysteries surrounding the resurrection plant that brought back the King as a monster (zombie). While it may not take up an entire episode, they could, at the very least, add an emotional twist to the backstory. With more of Resurrection Plant's reveals, it might help the Crown Prince get closer to the truth concerning its Origin.
The second season ended with a couple of major cliffhangers leading to more mysteries. Following the Time-Skip, the prince saved by Seo-bi (played by Bae Doona) became the new king, and the worms of the resurrection plant are still inside him. It's possible that worms are waiting for the king to mature so that they can take over his body.
From Kingdom: Ashin of the North, we're confident that Ashin caused the initial plague to carry out a plan to avenge those who killed her entire family. She also supplied the Resurrection plant to the physician who treated the King in the first season, hoping that the Joseon Kingdom would get destroyed for the treason of killing her father.
With the plant's emergence in the North and the crown prince learning about frequent outbreaks, the main part of the storyline would most likely take place in the North. Furthermore, aside from Lee Chang (Crown Prince), Young King, and Seo-bi, Ashin plays the most crucial role in the upcoming season(s). Kim Eun Hee, Kingdom's screenwriter, dropped some hints while discussing the possibility of a third season in an interview with Soompi, saying:
"While working on season two, I wanted to portray a much larger universe. Those who have watched will know, but people like Lee Chang, Seo Bi, and Young Shin are all people who chase the plague, wishing it never arose. I've thought that having season three tell the story of chasing the Origin of the plague would be good, so we're thinking of doing that."
"Season one told the story of hunger and season two told the story of blood. If Netflix agrees, I want season three to tell the story of resentment. Season two brought attention to the concept of 'temperature' and I think if the story were to travel north, the different ecosystem in the North would act as a hint."
It explains why the upcoming season will broaden the setting and focus on the Northern region rather than traditional politics. Regardless, the third season's main theme would be resentment of people like Ashin, making it more than just another zombie thriller. With so many characters acting out from different regions for various purposes, the next season will be highly pleasing to watch. As usual, Paramount+ has dropped press pictures for the upcoming episode. These show us what is coming up in Star Trek: Picard Season 3, Ep 4. For starters, it looks like Jean-Luc Picard (Sir Patrick Stewart) is in the command chair of the USS Titan-A. Perhaps he and Riker (Jonathan Frakes) put aside their differences, and Jean-Luc takes command? He certainly has the experience. He and Riker have different opinions on how to command the Titan during the fight with Captain Vadic (Amanda Plummer).
Star Trek: Picard Season 3 airs on Thursdays via Paramount+ for those in the United States. Additionally, on Crave and the CTV Sci-Fi channel for viewers in Canada. However, new episodes air Fridays via Amazon Prime Video in international regions like the United Kingdom. Paramount+ also streams the episodes in select locations, such as Italy, Germany and France. 041b061a72
